This graduate training project was funded by two grants from the National Science Foundation Division of Graduate Education.
The funding ended in 2016.
It was a great experience for me, and I think for many graduate fellows, K-12 teachers and their students.
In response to our final report, our NSF program officer wrote “Thank you for conducting an excellent GK-12 project ... ”
The project web site, at http://kbsgk12project.kbs.msu.edu/:
has loads of interesting and useful information about the project and participants,
but most importantly, there are links to many excellent lesson plans and activities created by our participants.
Check out one of our most successful initiatives, the Data Nuggets project: http://datanuggets.org
